Addressing newspaper delivery issues - Part 2!

For 14 years, Sonlight Bible Fellowship has been a beacon of faith and community, meeting in various locations such as community centers and other venues while remaining steadfast in its mission to worship and serve. During this time, the congregation demonstrated remarkable flexibility and resilience, adapting to the challenges of setting up and tearing down each Sunday as they pursued their vision of glorifying God.

After signing a contract to begin the process of purchasing a new ambulance in May of 2022, the Gibbon Volunteer Fire Department received its new unit on Thursday, May 15, according to Gibbon Fire Chief Rick Brown. Chief Brown said that the department has 2009 and 2016 units. The new unit replaces the 2009 model, which will be sold. He related that the department has been saving for a new unit since right after purchasing the 2016 vehicle and when the new unit was ordered, it was expected that it would take at least 24 months to receive it. “There are a lot of new features that come with a new one,” explained Chief Brown. “It’s a bigger truck on an F550 chasis and has air ride suspension and we purchased a power load cot to help with lifting the cot.” (–courtesy photo)
