“A World Of Christmas” to be presented this Sunday in Wood River

The Wood River Area Community Choir will be presenting a cantata titled, “A World Of Christmas,” this Sunday, December 15, at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 408 11th Street in Wood River. The cantata and arranged by Joseph themusicorchestratedby Adams. The current Wood River Community Choir was organized in the fall of 2002 by Vincent Boudreau, its director.

Versatility and talent earn the Shelton girls 2010 track team a spot in the Shelton Athletic Hall of Fame

A winning track program begins with a variety of athletes and the Shelton girls 2010 team had just that. Speed, stamina, and endurance made this team a champion or runner-up in every meet they entered during the season, culminating with the Class C state runner-up trophy. This group was the beginning of a strong era in the girls track program, and is now a part of the Shelton Athletic Hall of Fame, Class of 2024.
