Masked Shelton High graduates turn their tassels in ceremonies held on Saturday, August 1, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A sign of the times … Centura’s graduates observed the six-foot rule for their commencement. The climate of the day, during this time of a pandemic, will possibly be more poignantly remembered than will the real purpose of the day.
Graduation ceremonies for the Centura High Class of 2020 will be held at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday, August 1, in the Centura gymnasium. Due to social distancing, the graduation ceremony is for family and faculty only.
Graduation ceremonies are scheduled for the Shelton High Class of 2020 this Saturday, August 1, at 3:00 p.m. in the Shelton High gymnasium. Each graduate is allowed to invite 15 guests to the ceremony to allow for social distancing protocols. Although the ceremony is not open to the public, it will be streamed live on the school’s YouTube channel. The specific link will be shared on the school’s social media accounts on August 1.
