July means county fair time in Nebraska and Central Nebraska a.k.a. Clipper Country, will play host to three such fairs in the coming weeks, the Hall, Howard and Buffalo County Fairs.

Penny Wyman, age 77, of Kearney, died Tuesday, July 3, at her home. She was cremated and her remains were buried at the Shelton Cemetery next to her parents. Per her wishes there were no services.
