The community of Gibbon will celebrate the Independence Day holiday on Friday with the “Star Spangled Carnival” theme. Activities for young and old will be held throughout the day all around town.

With the sun shining on Friday and Saturday, June 13 and 14, the Wood River City-Wide Garage Sales drew treasure and bargain hunters from across the area to peruse the tables filled with “must have” items.
