Roughly fifty people were on hand on Tuesday, April 7, as the City of Gibbon celebrated its 155th birthday with an Old Settlers Day observance at the Gibbon Heritage Center. The day included the Center being open at 1:00 p.m. for tours, research and connecting with history, and light refreshments.
The 98th annual Nebraska State FFA Convention held in Lincoln March 25 through 27 recorded 7,957 members and guests, including members of the Gibbon FFA Chapter.
