Wood River Lighthouse student team leading the way on Go Big GIVE project

The student led Wood River Lighthouse team has taken on the challenge raising funds for community pickleball courts in Wood River. With the guidance of their teachers, Elizabeth Troyer- Miller and the Wood River Vision 20/20 Board, the students have started their fundraising campaign with fun social media posts introducing their campaign, and rules of the pickleball sport.

Emily Wiehn awarded Osborne Legacy Scholarship

Shelton senior Emily Wiehn is the recipient of the Hastings College TeamMates Osborne Legacy Scholarship for the upcoming school year in 2026-27. The scholarship covers full tuition for four years. Emily and her Shelton TeamMate Dee Dee Muhlbach (above, left) have been meeting together for eight years, beginning when Emily was in fifth grade. Emily and Dee Dee plan to continue meeting through the TeamMates post secondary program. Emily has also joined the dance team at Hastings College. (—Clipper photo by Steve Glenn)
