The Wood River Methodist Church is hosting the Red Cross Bloodmobile at the Wood River Community Room on Friday, June 12. The times have changed from previous bloodmobiles. The new times are from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be both single and double unit or power red machines available as usual.
Independence Day, Saturday, July 4, is nearing quickly and it is once again time to gear up for the annual Shelton Independence Day celebration. Organizers are encouraged to contact the Clipper at info@clipperpubco.com with details on events being planned for the day. Please submit information by Monday, June 15, so information can be compiled and placed in an upcoming issue of The Clipper and so a poster can be made.
It is garage sale time in Clipper Country with area community sales beginning this week.
Sonja Warner has been selected to represent Shelton American Legion Auxiliary at Cornhusker Girls State held in Lincoln on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln May 31 through June 6. Sonja will be a senior this fall at Shelton High School.
