Centura girls basketball team finishes LPC tourney in third place

The number one seeded Centura girls basketball team easily won its first round game in the LouPlatte Conference Tournament on Tuesday, January 30, against Arcadia/Loup City, 57-22, to move on in the tournament, but after a loss to fourth seed Wood River in the tournament semi-finals on Thursday, February 1, the Lady Centurions took on Ravenna in the tournament’s consolation bracket and emerged with a 32-18 win and third place in the conference tournament.

SHS Quiz Bowl team earns first place at Kenesaw

The Shelton High School Quiz Bowl team took first place at the Kenesaw Quiz Bowl meet on Thursday, January 25. They went undefeated against four other teams. Centurion speech team has successful day at Ord meet

The Centura speech team found a great deal of success at the Ord Invitational on Saturday, January 27, finishing second in the varsity Team Sweeps and fourth in novice as well as earning a number of individual medals.
