In the Class D team competition at the state cross country meet in Kearney Friday, October 25, Shelton’s Bulldogs ran to a fourth-place finish with 102 team points.
Both Caitlin States and Jeremiah Arndt came across the finish line in second place in their respective races at the district cross country meet staged in Hastings Thursday, October 17.
“In my opinion, this is one of the toughest Class D districts in the state,” said Matt Walter, the Bulldogs’ coach, after the Shelton boys qualified as a team at the district cross country meet in
Marcus Lauber and Jadyn Branson garnered the necessary number of votes to be named the 2019 Shelton Homecoming King and Queen during half-time of last Friday afternoon’s game against Heartland.
Centura hosted homecoming on Friday, October 11, with a pep rally, tailgate barbecue, and football game against the Gibbon Buffaloes, winning with a score of 36-12.
