The 2025-2026 Shelton High School Academic Honors Program and National Honor Society Induction Ceremony was held Monday, April 20, at the school.
On Thursday, April 23, Shelton’s track and field teams made the short trip to Gibbon for the Gibbon Invitational.
The Wood River boys and girls track and field teams brought home a nice number of medals from the both the Doniphan/ Trumbull Invitational on Tuesday, April 21, and the Palmer Invitational on Thursday, April 23.
A change in water and sewer rates looms for Gibbon as the Gibbon City Council began the process to do so at its regular monthly meeting on Monday, April 20, in addition to addressing other agenda items and a public hearing on the Gibbon Drinking Water Well Field Project Preliminary Engineering Report.
Two meets dotted the schedule for the Gibbon boys golf team last week, a quad hosted by Kearney Catholic on Tuesday, April 14, and included teams from Kearney Catholic, Gibbon, Ravenna and Arcadia/ Loup City, and the Red Cloud/Bob Boher Invitational on Thursday, April 16.
