District final game ends Wood River volleyball season

Finding success in volleyball subdistricts, the Wood River Eagles defeated their first opponent, the Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals on Monday, October 23, and then found success against the number one seed, Hastings St. Cecilia on Tuesday, October 24, advancing to Saturday, October 28, in which the Eagles traveled to the district final game against Oakland-Craig.

The Lady Bulldog volleyball team found success once again at subdistricts by winning against the Harvard Cardinals on Monday, October 23, and defeating the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders on Tuesday, October 24, allowing the ’Dawgs to advance to the district final game on Saturday, October 28, and compete against the Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans in the central location of Crete.
