Lady Buffaloes log 2-1 record last week

Gibbon’s Lady Buffalo basketball team logged two home court wins last week, one over Harvard and the second over Giltner early in the week, and dropped the last contest of the week to Loomis in the home court finale. The Gibbon girls grounded Harvard by a 58-26 score on Monday, January 27, and defeated Giltner by a 4426 margin on Tuesday, January 28. The Lady Buffaloes encountered an aggressive, physical Loomis team on Thursday, January 30, and met defeat, 33-60 final tally.

Wood River cagers survive overtime clash with Ord, top Nebraska Christian

The schedule for the Wood River boys basketball team last week included a home court, overtime thriller with Ord on Tuesday, January 28, and a road game with Nebraska Christian on Thursday, January 30.

Lady Buffalo grapplers place third at conference meet

The Gibbon Lady Buffalo wrestling team finished the seven-team LouPlatte Conference meet in third place with 75 team points behind second place Ord and their 87 team points and conference champion Wood River, who had 177.5 team points on Saturday, January 25, at Ord.
