At the Gibbon Invitational on Thursday, April 20, the Centura girls track and field team earned first place as a team, outpacing second place St.
The Shelton Bulldogs boys and girls track and field teams traveled the short distance down Highway 30 to participate in the Gibbon Invite on Thursday, April 20. The Bulldogs once again had to fight the colder temperatures and windy conditions but the Lady Bulldogs finished in third place as a team and the boys brought home a fifth place team finish.
The Shelton High Spring Art Expo was held Wednesday evening, April 19, in the school library to showcase recent work by five Shelton art students. Juniors Amanda Gillming and Brandon Lozo and seniors Sidney Gegg, Xavier Hellerich and Dru Niemack displayed their works at the expo. Four guest artists from the University of Nebraska-Kearney were on hand at the expo, Liz Bloomfield, senior art education lecturer, and three art education juniors, Katie Cecrle, Sierra Maginnis and Laura Konz. The annual Ron Priebe-Gibbon Track and Field Invitational, hosted by the Gibbon boys and girls track and field teams, was held on a chilly windy day, Thursday, April 20. Both the Gibbon boys and girls teams finished in seventh places.
