Wood River golfers bring home hardware from Loup City Invite

The Wood River golf team finally was able to get their season under way after having the first meet of the year cancelled due to inclement weather. The Eagles hosted the Wood River Invite at Centura Hills Golf Course on Tuesday, April 4, and traveled to the Loup City Invite on Thursday, April 6. The Wood River Invite was plagued by wind and cold temperatures that fell below 30 degrees at times but the Eagles hit the links and placed fourth as a team out of seven teams in the field this year.
