Bulldogs blast Santee for homecoming win
Shelton football fans were treated to a 74-39 homecoming win over visiting Santee by the hometown Bulldogs on Friday, September 8.

The Shelton Bulldog volleyball team started their week traveling to Minden to strike a battle with the Whippets on Tuesday, September 5, ultimately losing to the Lady Whippets in three sets, but bouncing back Thursday, September 7, playing the Silver Lake Mustangs at home and winning in a total of four sets.
The Wood River volleyball team wrapped up a very successful week after finding a three set victory against their Tuesday, September 5, opponents at home, beating the Central City Bison in three sets and going on to dominate in a triangular in Ord defeating both the Centura Lady Centurions and the Ord Chanticleers in three sets in each game on Thursday, September 7.
Gibbon school band is fifty-five strong
Candidates for homecoming king and queen were recently announced at Gibbon High School. Pictured, left to right are, king candidates Bryce Schuster, Ruben Hernandez and Kreyton Rockefeller and queen candidates Carla Murillo Corona and Yocelyn Tamayo. Not pictured is queen candidate Meagan Benker. Powerbuff volleyball and a pep rally are set to begin at 2:15 on Friday, September 15, and the homecoming football game with Chase County is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. Crowning of the homecoming king and queen will be held at the conclusion of the game.
