“A perfect day to run,” Shelton head cross country coach Matt Walter said of the conditions at the NSAA State Cross Country Championship held at the Kearney Country Club on Friday, October 22. “The Shelton kids went out and gave it their all, and even though all the times didn’t reflect where we wanted to be, how proud I am of them as a coach is unaltered. This group has been great from top to bottom, old to young. An incredibly fun group to coach and we will certainly miss our four seniors.”
