After holding public hearings to amend the city’s 2023-2024 budget and to set a 2024-2025 tax request on Monday, September 16, the Gibbon City Council held its regular monthly meeting, which consisted mainly of hearing monthly reports.
As part of the week-long homecoming celebrations at Shelton High School this week, candidates for homecoming king and queen have been revealed. Queen candidates are, front row, left to right, Justine Pope, daughter of Jeff and Jeanne Pope, Ellie Morgan, daughter of Mandi and Jamie Morgan, and Kaycee Tompkin, daughter of Dana and Jennette Tompkin; and king candidates Dylan Kenton, son of Jeff and Carol Kenton, Ben Myers, son of Kris and Brad Myers, and Colby Pearson, son of Chelsie and Tyson Brown.
