Open house held for new Gibbon city hall/community center

Nominations sought for class of 2024 Hall of Fame

Nominations for the Shelton Athletic Hall of Fame and Baseball Hall of Fame are being accepted for the 2024 classes. Recent honorees inducted in 2023 were athletes Kalyn Brannagan, Luke Glenn, and Leo (Tony) Winey. Coach Ron Blase was also a member of the class. Baseball inductees were Matt Gangwish, Scott Holley, and the 2014 Senior Legion Class C state champions.

Annual Shelton FFA Banquet held

The Shelton High School FFA Chapter held their annual banquet on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Shelton school. The banquet program consisted of opening ceremonies, a meal, year in review, recognition of members’ accomplishments this year, retirement of chapter officers and the induction of new chapter officers.
