Celebrate Wood River Performing Arts Series will feature one of the Midwest’s most popular brass quintets, Nebraska Brass, this Sunday at the Wood River Rural High School Performing Arts Theatre. They will be performing a wide variety of music, including classical, Dixieland, and jazz. Given the holidays are right around the corner, half of this program will be Christmas music. Surrounding schools will be invited to a workshop/concert prior to the 2:30 performance.

How about seeing “orbs” or hearing a voice with no visible source? There are as many theories as to what makes a building haunted as there are old, abandoned buildings scattered across the Great Plains and Nebraska in particular.
