In just a matter of days, the Independence Day Celebration will kick off in Shelton, beginning on Sunday, July 3, and continuing on Monday, July 4.
Independence Day in Gibbon this year sports the theme “Red, White, and Boom!” and offers the annual parade and more on Sunday and Monday, July 3 and 4.
Highlights from the regular monthly meeting of the Gibbon Board of Education held on Tuesday, June 14, included reports of awards and accomplishments of students in the past month, news on the new greenhouse project, progress on summer projects around the school, and a discussion about implementing a girls varsity wrestling program.
Independence Day Celebration activities in Shelton continue to be assembled for Sunday, July 3, and Monday, July 4.
