The Shelton School Board of Education used a portion of the August 10 regular meeting to preview the school reopening plan that was prepared for the district. Other more routine agenda items included the budget reports, administrators’ reports, evaluations, and the approval of staff and student handbooks.
In its final regular monthly meeting before the 2020-21 school year, the Gibbon Board of Education worked through an agenda of housekeeping items on Monday, August 10.
The dental office of Dr. Larry Krause, D.D.S., in Wood River, located at 908 Main Street, will be closing on Wednesday, September 30, due to the retirement of Dr. Krause.

Residents of Shelton came together to form the Shelton Community and Economic Development (SCED) group on February 1, 2018, and since that time, that organization has completed projects that they believe are important to the future of the community, while working closely with the Shelton Village Board of Trustees.
