With their community service projects throughout Shelton over the past nearly ten years, the Shelton Area Lions Club has helped make Shelton a “Slice of the Good Life.” A recent example of the group’s efforts can be seen along Highway 30 on the east side of the community.
At the regular monthly August meeting of the Shelton Village Board of Trustees, the board voted to approve the final draft of the Shelton Local Economic Development Plan and place the plan on the ballot to be voted on by residents in the 2020 general election this November.
