Another step forward toward a new swimming pool was made by the Shelton Village Board of Trustees as they moved to approve bonds for construction of the new swimming pool at its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, July 10.
Both the Buffalo County Fair in Kearney and the Hall County Fair in Grand Island are set to begin next week with full slates of activities. The Buffalo County Fair will run from Tuesday, July 22, through Monday, July 28, and the Hall County Fair will be held Wednesday, July 23 through Sunday, July 27.

The Buffalo County Fair in Kearney looks to be another event when it held at the fairgrounds in Kearney Tuesday, July 22 through Monday, July 28. Fair events on the first day, July 22, get underway with the 4-H animal shows along with open class and static entries.
