Graduation exercises for the Shelton High Class of 2023 were held at the high school on Saturday, May 6.
Commencement activities for the forty members of the Centura High School Class of 2023 were held on Sunday, May 7. Class colors were burgundy, black, and silver. The class song was “Firework” by Katy Perry, the class flower was a pink Ranunculus, and the class motto was “We’re That Class,” by the Class of 2023.
Gibbon seniors Emma Kucera and Hernan Vargas were recently selected as Valedictorian and Salutatorian, respectively, of the Gibbon High School Class of 2023.
Donors displayed great generosity once again toward Clipper Country non-profit organizations during the Go Big GIVE campaign held Thursday, May 4. Overall, the Heartland United Way and Greater Grand Island Community Foundation hosted 10th annual, 24-hour online giving event, raised $1,653,234.00 with 5,013 donations for 157 local non-profits in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick counties.
