Wood River track and field teams host Wood River Invite

At the Wood River track and field invitational, hosted by the Wood River boys and girls track and field teams on Tuesday, April 8, the Eagle boys team finished the day in third place with 80 team points and the Lady Eagles were sixth with 33 team points out of the nine teams competing. The Kenesaw boys won the boys side of the meet with 90 team points and for the girls, the Nebraska Christian contingent took the top spot with 155 team points.

Shelton track and field teams have “great day” at Franklin Invitational

“It was a great day for the tracksters at Franklin,” stated Shelton head track coach Matt Walter of the Franklin Invitational held on Tuesday, April 8, where the Lady Bulldogs amassed 62.5 team points to finish in third place among the 13 teams competing and the Shelton boys were fourth with 54 team points. The Silver Lake girls team won that side of the meet with 114 team points and Deshler came out on top of the boys’ side with 75 team points.
