More than sixty Gibbon Public School students in first through twelfth grades have been working hard over the past few months on presenting the fabulous classic musical, The Wizard of Oz, based on the book by L. Frank Baum.
The play chosen for the sping play at Wood River Rural High School this year is “Get Smart.”
On Tuesday, February 25, members of the Centura FFA Chapter made their way to Grand Island where they competed at the Career Development Events (CDE) and will have team members competing at the Nebraska State FFA Convention in Lincoln, April 2 through 4.
On Tuesday, February 25, the Wood River FFA Chapter competed at the District Career Development Events (CDE) in Grand Island, showcasing their knowledge and skills in various agricultural contests. A total of 40 students from ninth through twelfth grades represented Wood River in a highly competitive field.
