Shelton High Activities Banquet held

The 2024-2025 Shelton High School Activities Banquet was held Friday evening, May 16, at Shelton High School and recognized students who participated in extracurricular activities throughout the school year. The evening included awards to students from sponsors and coaches of cross country, football, volleyball, play production/one act, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls wrestling, speech, boys golf, boys and girls track, NSAA/NCSC Multi Activity Award, NSAAAcademic All State awards, Coaches Female/Male Student-Athletes of the Year, and Shelton Booster Club recognition. Shelton sends six athletes to state track meet

After the dust settled at the District D-5 Track and Field meet in Burwell on Wednesday, May 14, the Shelton boys and girls teams qualified six athletes for the state meet in various events. As a team, the Lady Bulldogs finished the day in fifth place with 48 team points among the 12 teams competing at the district meet as Elm Creek’s 128 points were enough for first place. The Shelton boys were ninth with 22 team points out of the 12 teams at the district meet. Central Valley’s boys won that side of the meet with 108 team points.
