Gibbon FBLA Chapter hosts Area meeting
On November 18, the Gibbon FBLA Chapter held an Area Chapter Meeting in which Kearney and Wood River FBLA members/ officers attended. Attendees watched a video from the Nebraska FBLA Parliamentarian, Irelyn Bearinger, who explained more about FBLA competitive events and how to become a state officer to members and guests. The meeting also had a guest speaker, Forde Holl, 2025 Gibbon alumnae, who shared about her entrepreneurship business Forde’s Cakes, the current finance internship through the University of Nebraska-Kearney and what it is like to be a college freshman. Everyone enjoyed pie and popcorn as a thank you for attending, a fun Thanksgiving snack to wrap up the meeting.
