With 2025 behind us, the Clipper continues to look back at life in Clipper Country as recorded in the pages of the Clipper these past 12 months. This week, Part II looks back during the last six months of the year, July through December.

The first and second place winners of the Shelton Area Lions Club annual Christmas Light competition were recently revealed. Taking first place was the home of Greg and Kara Stevens (above) at 614 Phelps Drive. Earning second place honors was the residence of Russ and Connie Pearson at 312 Coady Street. First place and runner-up displays receive $25 and $20, respectively, in Lions Bucks and a one-year subscription to The Clipper.
