This Sunday, December 14, the Wood River Area Communi- ty Choir will present the cantata “Festival of Christmas” at 2:30 p.m. The cantata will be presented at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 408 11th Street in Wood River.
The preliminary results from the Thursday, December 4, Give Where You Live (GWYL) Day of Giving in Buffalo County were posted recently and showed Shelton and Gibbon non-profits fared well in donations received throughout the day. Nineteen Shelton non-profits and 12 Gibbon nonprofits took part in the Day of Giving.
The Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) recently awarded $14,173,231 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to 38 projects in 33 communities through the 2025 Downtown Revitalization, Planning, and Public Works opportunities.
