“Our varsity wrestlers competed in Hooper, on Saturday, December 21, at the Logan View Invite,” began Wood River head boys wrestling coach Darin Waddington of the final boys wrestling of 2024. The Eagles finished 12th as a team with 82.5 points. Battle Creek took first place with 245 points.

By a 41-37 score, the Shelton Lady Bulldog basketball team held on for a win in their game on the court in Shelton with Red Cloud on Friday, December 20, to improve to 5-2 on the season.

Kimberly Hernandez and Amillion Reyes recorded first place finishes to lead the Gibbon girls wrestling team at the Gibbon Invitational held on Thursday, December 19. The Gibbon ladies finished the night in third place among the seven teams wrestling.
