A triangular at Loup City on Tuesday, September 23, and a dual on Thursday, September 25, at Sandy Creek dotted the calendar for the Gibbon Lady Buffaloes on the volleyball court last week.
The Doniphan/Trumbull Cardinals proved to be too much for the Gibbon football team on the road at Doniphan as the Buffaloes met defeat, 0-60, on Friday, September 26.

By scoring in all four quarters and allowing the Hastings St. Cecilia Bluehawks to find the end zone once, the Wood River Eagles improved to 4-1 on the season with a 26-7 win in front of the Wood River home crowd on Friday, September 26.
By a 55-13 score, the Boone Central Cardinals humbled the Wood River football team at Boone Central, 55-13, on Friday, September 19.
