Leaving little doubt who the better team on the court was in two games last week, the Shelton Lady Bulldog basketball team trounced Wilcox-Hildreth, 46-20, on Thursday, December 9, and repeated that thrashing the next night when Kenesaw paid a visit to Shelton. The Shelton ladies sent the Lady Blue Devils home with a 21-44 loss.

The Lady Crusaders of Grand Island Central Catholic were too much for the Centura Lady Centurions as GICC walked away with a 49-27 win on Tuesday, December 7, but the Centura ladies rebounded to post a 50-26 win over Central City on Friday, December 10.
