The Centura boys basketball team logged a pair of wins on the court last week as they dominated Central Valley, 61-27, on Tuesday, December 14, and fended off Ord, 67-62, on Saturday, December 18.
The Kearney Catholic Dual Tournament held on Saturday, December 18, saw the Gibbon Buffaloes win two duals and lose three. Wins came against Cross County/Osceola, 40-24 and Southern Valley, 42-30.
After a close first half between Highway 30 rival host Gibbon Buffaloes and the Wood River Lady Eagle basketball teams on Saturday, December 18, Wood River poured it on to put distance between themselves and the Gibbon ladies on their way to a 44-30 victory.
The back and forth Highway 30 boys basketball battle between the Wood River Eagles and Gibbon Buffaloes ended with a 49-43 win for the visiting Eagles on Saturday, December 18.
Perennial big time foes Adams Central and St. Paul were overpowered by the Wood River boys basketball team last week on the court.
