Ord and Nebraska Christian were the opponents for the Wood River boys basketball team last week which resulted in a pair of wins for the Eagles.
Three meets in the space of four days kept the Centura boys wrestling team on the go last week as they competed at the Arcadia/Loup City Quad on Tuesday, January 25, hosted a triangular on Thursday, January 27, and went to the Ord Invitational on Friday, January 28.
Two games on the court last week, one on the road and one at home, resulted in a pair of setbacks for the Wood River Lady Eagle basketball team. Ord shot down the Wood River team, 71-58, on Tuesday, January 25, and Nebraska Christian won the battle of the Eagle mascots by getting past the Wood River ladies, 46-33, on Thursday, January 27.
Centura’s Sarah Klein emerged from the LouPlatte Conference girls tournament with a championship on Tuesday, January 24, with wrestlers from Ord, Arcadia/Loup City, and St. Paul competing.
