A 25-point third quarter helped lift the Wood River boys basketball team past the Kenesaw Bluedevils, 64 47, on Friday, February 18, in Wood River.
Buffalo wrestlers Jose Escandon and Daniel Yepez represented Gibbon at the NSAA State Wrestling Championships held in Omaha Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 17, 18 and 19, where Escandon battled his way to a third place finish at 120 pounds. Yepez competed for the Buffaloes at 285 pounds.
Shelton’s Sebastian Sauceda and Gunner Spotanski made a good showing at the NSAA Wrestling Championships held in Omaha on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 17, 18 and 19.
