Sarah Klein and Ayden Berney represented Centua at the NSAA State Girls and Boys Wrestling Championships in Omaha on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 17, 18 and 19.
The rematch between the Wood River Lady Eagles and Centura Lady Centurions in the C2-8 Subdistrict Tournament on Tuesday, February 15, ended in the same manner the clash in the LouPlatte Conference Tournament did, with a win for the Lady Eagles, this time on the court at Hastings St. Cecilia. Wood River advanced to the tournament’s next round with a 44-35 victory.
