Celebrate Wood River Saturday Friendship Gathering is scheduled for September 30, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. Michelle Setlik will be presenting a program about Margaret Theresa Mobley. Ms. Setlik is a replacement for Dr. Nathan Tye. Because of a conflict, Dr. Tye had to cancel and he will be scheduled for another date.
With her performance this Sunday, September 24, Pippa White will open the Celebrate Wood River Performing Arts Series for 2023-2024 at 2:30 p.m.

A fire on Saturday, September 9, at about 1:30 p.m. at the City of Gibbon’s wastewater treatment plant did extensive damage to the waste gas building located north of River Street and Gibbon Packing.
