The dental office of Dr. Larry Krause, D.D.S., in Wood River, located at 908 Main Street, will be closing on Wednesday, September 30, due to the retirement of Dr. Krause.
Residents of Shelton came together to form the Shelton Community and Economic Development (SCED) group on February 1, 2018, and since that time, that organization has completed projects that they believe are important to the future of the community, while working closely with the Shelton Village Board of Trustees.
Replacing a section of fencing that surrounds Gibbon’s Riverside Cemetery and raising funds for an updated directory are two of the most recent projects implemented by the Gibbon Cemetery Board.
Sunny, comfortable summer days on Friday and Saturday, July 31 and August 1, made checking out the bargains at the annual Wood River City-Wide Garage Sales an even more enjoyable affair as nearly forty sales dotted the city and surrounding area attracting shoppers from across the area. Despite students across Clipper Country being “at home” since March due to the on-going pandemic, another summer has gone by quickly and the time is almost here for the 2020-21 school year to begin. No matter what date the school year begins for any given school district, the upcoming year looks to be one of adjusting to changes and doing things differently. Schedules for sports and other events will likely be subject to changes as the school year unfolds.
