Despite having to build a new FFA (Future Farmers of America) chapter from the ground up at Gibbon High School, Gibbon FFA Advisor Kealey Widdowson maintains her enthusiasm for the new program and the students involved in the chapter.
Among the items on the agenda for the Gibbon City Council’s regular October meeting, held on Monday, October 16, was a discussion with representatives of BD Construction about a change order relating to upgrades required by the State Fire Marshall in the old west end of the fire hall and an increase in garbage rates.
The University of Nebraska - Lincoln Bathtub Dogs are coming to town: Be-(A)ware. This is the second performance of the Celebrate Wood River Performing Art Series of the 2023-2024 season. On Sunday, November 5, at 2:30 p.m. The Bathtub Dogs will bring their energy and talents to the Wood River High School Performing Arts Theatre.
