The Buffalo County 4-H Skillathon team brought home the national championship last week representing Nebraska at the competition in Louisville, Kentucky. Members of the team included Shelton High School students Skyler Summers, Noah Summers, Taylor Lewis and Jaylea Pope, with Callee Carman as alternate and Dean Batie, of Kearney, as coach.

The Kearney Area Community Foundation’s (KACF) Give Where You Live Day of Giving is scheduled to be held on Thursday, December 2, with sixteen Shelton area non-profits accepting donations on that day.
