The year 2021 has been a busy and eventful one for the Shelton Public Library and Library Director/librarian Tony Crouse.
The Second Annual Holiday Storybook Walk of Lights, hosted by the Gibbon Public Library, was held on Sunday, December 12, and invited participants to enjoy the outdoor storybook walk around the library to read the story “5 More Sleeps ‘Til Christmas,” say hi to Santa (above), get a sneak peak of the Friends of the Library’s Holiday Bazaar (left) and guess how many chocolate kisses were in a container (below). The 2021 Kearney Area Community Foundation’s Give Where You Live Day of Giving on Thursday, December 2, has come and gone and preliminary results have been made available.
The Kids and Dreams Foundation and the Shelton Area Lions Club were the top beneficiaries from donors during the 2021 Kearney Area Community Foundation’s Give Where You Live Day of Giving on Thursday, December 2, according to preliminary results posted on the Kearney Area Community Foundation website.
The Shelton Area Goodfellows are continuing to prepare for bringing joy to those who are struggling this holiday season. As in the past, the Shelton community’s generosity provides gifts and food for families who need a little help during this season.
