Staff Sergeant Cameron Araujo, a recruiter with the Nebraska Army National Guard based out of McCook, will be the featured speaker at the Veterans Day program held at Shelton Public School on Thursday, November 11, at 10:00 a.m.
All veterans are invited to attend a Veterans Day Supper on Thursday, November 11, at 6:00 p.m. at the Shelton American Legion Hall.
The Wood River American Legion Auxiliary will host a Veterans Coffee Hour on Wednesday, November 10, at 8:30 a.m. at the Wood River American Legion Club.
Veterans Day programs are planned at both Wood River Rural High School and Wood River Elementary on Thursday, November 11.
All area veterans and members of the public are cordially invited to the Veterans Day program presented by Gibbon Public School on Thursday, November 11, at 1:00 p.m. Staff and students will present a Virtual Veterans Day Quilt of Valor, patriotic music, and the “Hometown Heroes” slideshow to honor local veterans.
