Voters across Clipper Country made their way to their polling places for the General Election on Tuesday, November 8. Unofficial results, courtesy of respective county election commissioner’s offices, were made available on Wednesday and are reported below.
Gibbon, Wood River and Shelton Public Schools honored Veterans on Friday, November 11, with programs held at their respective schools. Elementary students presented handmade cards to Veterans in attendance at the Gibbon Veterans Day program (left), forty-six Veterans and their guests attended the Veterans Day program at Wood River Rural School along with members of the community (above), and SSG Dave Mueller, a Shelton High graduate, was the guest speaker at the Shelton Veterans Day program (right). Four Gibbon non-profits featured this week
Woof River Dog Grooming opened in Wood River on October 17, by owner Emily Crouch and offers full grooming (including nails), bath and brush (includes nails), clipping or filing of nails, deshed, and premium grooming (specialized shampoo and conditioner, filing of nails and tooth brushing).
This December 1, Shelton donors can choose from eighteen area non-profits to donate to during the Kearney Area Community Foundation’s (KACF) Give Where You Live (GWYL) Day of Giving.
