Thanks to the Ten Free Trees program, an effort of the Nebraska Forest Service, and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, Gibbon Public Schools received ten trees for Spanish 4 students and Future Business Leaders of America students to plant recently.
The United States Air Force Heartland of America Band’s brass ensemble, Offutt Brass, will present a free concert on Sunday, October 23, at 2:30 p.m., at the Wood River High School Performing Arts Center, 13800 W. Wood River Road, Wood River. Offutt Brass performs as a brass quintet with a percussionist, proudly showcasing the U.S. Air Force’s excellence, precision, versatility, and innovation in every performance. Their program features a wide variety of music and celebrates worldwide American musical influence spanning the last 75 years.
Glass Edge relocates to new office and warehouse in Shelton
Senator Deb Fischer (left), who represents Nebraska’s 43rd legislative district, stopped in Gibbon on Monday afternoon, October 3, and spent over an hour visiting with members of the Gibbon Chamber of Commerce. Senator Fischer fielded questions about state and national topics as well as heard about the good things happening in Gibbon and things that could use improvement.
