An open invitation is extended to everyone from the City of Gibbon to come to town to experience the enchanting “Magic of a Small Town Christmas” during the Second Annual Christmas in the Park in Gibbon, sponsored by the City of Gibbon, this Saturday, December 2, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
After nearly a year the wait is almost over! You are invited to “Merry and Bright” this Sunday, December 3, presented by the Shelton Area Lions Club. Ring in the season from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. while enjoying food, drinks, music, shopping, raffle baskets, entertainment, kids’ activities, hayrack rides, and much more. Good little boys and girls will love chatting with Santa and Mrs. Claus who promise to make a special appearance! Celebrate with family and friends under thousands of twinkling lights at downtown Shelton’s holiday event.
When the Shelton community helped raise approximately $50,000 to build a new allweather track for the high school, Ron Blase knew he had community support – for his track and field athletes, and for himself. “I knew the community would always be behind me,” he said.
