Gibbon City Council covers sewer back ups, water and sewer increase, sells city hall
“Welcome to our new council chambers,” Gibbon Mayor Deb VanMatre said to those assembled for the May regular meeting of the Gibbon City Council on Monday, May 20. “We’re really pleased and happy to have this new location and share it with the community.” The council meeting addressed sewer back up issues suffered by some residents, approved the sale of the former city hall building, and approved ordinances that raised water and sewer rates for those services.
