Season comes to an end at subdistrict tournament for Lady Eagle netters
The Wood River Lady Eagles made the trip to Hastings St. Cecilia on Monday, October 27, to participate in the C2-8 Subdistrict Volleyball Tournament.

Arabella Rolfsmeyer, of Shelton, competed at the Nebraska State Fair FFA Show and won the Sophomore Goat Showmanship Division. During FFA weekend, she competed in goats and sheep. Rolfsmeyer won the hair sheep division and made it to final drive with Moe, her Droper. She also won Reserve Dorset Ewe. At the Western Junior Livestock Show recently held in Rapid City, South Dakota, Arabella had a tremendous week. She was awarded Champion Senior Goat Showman and Reserve Champion Senior Sheep Showman and placed fifth overall Breeding Meat Ewe with her piebald ewe, Penelope.
