GVFD cookoff, dance draws large crowd for food and fun

The Annual Gibbon Volunteer Fire Department BBQ Cookoff and Street Dance held on Saturday, August 9, was a hit once again as a large crowd attended to support the department and to taste the delectable wares of the dozen or so teams competing. Annual Gibbon Tractor Pull brings “thunder in the dirt” to Gibbon

The west side of Gibbon was a noisy, smoky location full of fun for the large crowd of all ages that attended the annual Gibbon Tractor Pull on Friday, August 1. The Gibbon Tractor Pull Association hosted the annual event that featured Outlaw truck and tractor pullers with nine classes of tractors.
