Palmer visited Shelton on Tuesday, September 8, Shelton played at Silver Lake Thursday, the 10th, and Loomis hosted a tournament Saturday, the 12th, in the busy volleyball week for Shelton’s Lady Bulldogs. The Bulldog ladies won two of the five games played.
By taking advantage of miscues by the visiting Doniphan/ Trumbull Cardinals and not letting up, the Gibbon Buffaloes recorded their second big victory of the season, 30-16 over the Cardinals.
The final two days of homecoming activities at Shelton High will wind up the 2020 edition of the annual event.

The Kearney Catholic Stars softball team racked up nine runs in the first inning, one in the second and two in the thir and held the visiting Centura-Central Valley Diamonds scoreless to post a 9-0 win in a short three inning affair on Tuesday, August 21.
